Our Core Edge borders are designed for durability and aesthetics. Each type of border, except for the patinated corten steel, features a 20-micron galvanized zinc layer for optimal corrosion protection. The black border (RAL 9005) has a UV-resistant polyester powder coating of 110 microns, which prevents fading and provides a radiation-resistant layer with a guaranteed lifespan of over 20 years. The corten steel border develops a stable rust appearance when exposed to the elements. This oxidation process creates a protective layer that significantly slows down the rate of future corrosion. The anchoring pins are equipped with a unique fold in the middle, providing extra reinforcement, making them ideal for use in heavier soil types. For loose soils, an optional 300 mm pin is available to ensure stability. This accessory is sold separately.

Flexible and easy-to-install borders!
1. Preparation of the soil:Start by preparing the soil where you want to install the edging. If the soil is hard, loosen it to facilitate the placement of the edging. |
2. Installation of the first piece:Place the first piece of Core Edge into the ground, close to the dug-out edge. Make sure that the logo is facing the visible side. |
3. Securing the border:Use a wooden block and a hammer to drive the edging into the ground. The wooden block protects the top of the border from damage and makes the installation safer. |
4. Connecting the lengths:After the first piece is installed, connect the second length using the large connecting tab at the top of each border. |
5. Locking:Use pliers to bend the locking tabs on the bottom of the border sideways. This ensures that the two pieces of Core Edge are securely fastened together. |
6. Use of anchoring pins (if necessary):In the case of loose soil, use the anchoring pins for extra stability. First, insert the clip through the opening in the bottom section of the border. |
7. Installation of the anchoring pin:Insert the anchoring pin through the clip opening and tap it down with a hammer until it reaches the top of the clip. This provides additional reinforcement for the border. |
8. Finishing:Repeat the above steps to complete your installation. The final result is a clean and neat finish for your garden edges. The border can be installed in a straight line, but is also suitable for curved lines or 90-degree angles. |
